Did you wonder why I mentioned the Thriller dance in the last post? Here's why!
Melissa and the cast did an amazing job of Romeo and Juliet, and we had a great crowd in both nights. Hopefully Brook Field School enjoyed their private viewing yesterday too!
Next Show is... You Don't Need To Know That!
Tuesday 5th February, 7.30pm.

TheatreWorks!
I was just updating our 'what's on' items to the Theatreworks website and noticed that we're on the front page today! If you click our link it will take you to the trailer. It acts as a nice reminder to you all to get your tickets for Romeo and Juliet while you still can!
Do you remember what you were doing when you first saw Michael Jackson's Thriller video? People will be asking you the same thing about this performance! Too hot to miss!

Back by Popular Demand...
Gonzo Moose presents You Don't Need To Know That!
An ordinary man who minds his own business awakes one morning to find a police inspector at the foot of his bed. Unaware of his crime, he is plunged into a shadowy world full of incompetent policemen, over zealou torturers, bemused judges, senile prison guards and lecherous inmates. You Don't Need To Know That... is the story of one man trying to prove his innocence in impossible circumstances. Will he triumph against petty bureaucracy, corrupt officials, treachery, danger and death?
Inspired by Kafka's The Trial, You Don't Need To Know That... is an exhilarating collision of comedy, drama, slapstick and puppetry. Gonzo Moose create a hilarious, ludicrous and disturbingly anarchic world where anything can happen and frequently does.

Happy New Year!
Well, a slightly belated Happy New Year to you all! The end of term was a bit manic, as expected, but I thoroughly enjoyed all the Christmas jobs!
Firstly, you can see an end of term report at The Link Magazine here, which details all of the charity work that was done by our students. There are also more photos to be seen of the Christmas Music Concert and also the Busking session in West Swindon. The Link also have featured our year 11 student Laura Perrett who has won the National Poetry Day competition. Click here for the full story and also to read the winning poem!
Secondly, I'm currently finishing the editing of the Christmas Nativity DVD's that I have done for Lydiard Millicent School. I had the pleasure of filming Sheik, Rattle and Roll and also the Bethlehem Booty, both of which were possible the best nativity plays I've ever seen!
As soon as that's done, I'm itching to get stuck in to one of my Christmas presents, The Animators Survival Kit. Romeo and Juliet opens in two weeks and so the trailer is a matter of urgency!
